This collar has a metal buckle on one end, and the metal prong can be put through any part of the collar allowing the collar to size down as far as needed. The end of each collar is heat sealed to prevent fraying. Please do not cut the end of the collar. If you do choose to cut the end of the collar we recommend melting it with heat so that it seals and won't fray.
