Traditional Collars for Cats

Traditional cat collars are a classic design, and feature durable and comfortable nylon material, complete with a metal buckle on one end and holes on the other so that the collar closes like a belt. These collars are excellent for cats and kittens who don't wear safety collars. Each traditional collar comes complete with a D-ring for attaching cat ID tags, and a rubber o-ring for tucking excess material so that it doesn't flap. Choose from many colors and three sizes! We've been selling these traditional cat collars since we started making pet tags in 1988. These cat collars have stood the test of time and are still popular among many cat owners. Although they are not a cat safety collar (like the breakaway or stretch collars), they offer features that many cat owners appreciate like a sturdy buckle design and metal D-ring for attaching pet ID tags.

We offer these traditional metal buckle cat collars in all of the same colors of our plastic pet ID tags - so you can match your cat or kitten's outfit purrfectly. Choose from blue, red, green, yellow, black, burnt orange, white, mint, tan, pink, purple, gray, neon green, neon orange, and neon pink!

These 3/8-inch wide collars are available in three sizes: 8-inch, 10-inch, and 12-inch. The average cat wears a 10-inch collar, and kittens generally wear the 8-inch; while larger cats often wear the 12-inch. We recommend measuring your cat's neck snugly, and adding about 2 inches to determine the best collar length for your cat or kitten.
